"An Arts & Craft project for people living in Lewisham, who have mental health support needs. Offering a supportive welcoming space to explore your creativity, learn new art techniques, put structure to your day and maybe make new friends." Mo Saunders - Co-Ordinator Network Arts

Network Arts enables people to develop in a positive and creative way, by providing supported structured activities in a safe and welcoming environment. Each member has an action plan outlining their goals and objectives.

Activities offered include mosaicing, creative crafts and screen printing. For more information on these activities please use the links on the left of the page.

We support and encourage members to promote and develop their work through organising exhibitions. These Exhibitions help to promote an understanding of mental health issues, and give members an opportunity to show their work. We are currently exhibiting work in a local GP surgery.

We hold a business meeting once a month, which all members are invited to attend. These meetings give members the opportunity to take an active role in decisions about potential commissions and exhibitions, as well as planning trips out and discussing the day to day running of the group.

We are currently situated at the Lee Centre, 1 Aislibie rd, Lee, London SE12 8QH

Here's what some of our members say about Network arts...

quotes

And heres what others say

"Network Arts has proved to be an invaluable resource, which has not only allowed service users to express and explore their creativity, but has also provided an important source of social support and has helped service users to establish both structure and a sense of purpose in their lives.

The flexibility of the project has been especially attractive to those who have previously failed to engage with more conventional rehabilitation or occupational therapeutic services and involvement with Network Arts has encouraged individuals to develop in confidence and self esteem, not least when their work has been exhibited or has been valued commercially."
