I have been a member of Network arts for about 4 years. I joined after a lengthy stay in hospital, and it has become a very important part of my life. I attend 2 days a week and have learned techniques such as mosaicing, screen printing and a variety of creative crafts.

Although network arts is described as an arts project for people with mental health problems, it is in fact so much more than that. I have been involved in a number of network arts exhibitions, and with the encouragement of Mo and Steve was able to have a solo exhibition at the Albany in Deptford. Network arts provides a safe and welcoming environment in which I can practice the art of being "normal", something that I find very difficult at times.

Mo and Steve are great. They don't make you feel like someone with a "problem", but at the same time they are aware of your difficulties and are always there if you need someone to talk to.

On these pages you will see examples of some of the work I have completed whilst at network arts. I do hope you enjoy them. Please use the links on the left to navigate through my pages.
