In 1998 Network arts was commissioned to produce a piece to be installed on Hayworth ward in the Ladywell unit. The idea of a sensory wall was conceived by member Eden Carmichael, and was carried forward to the design and production stages by the group as a whole. Fibre optic lights depict a waterfall cascading down the front of the piece. The piece itself was made from recycled materials, most of which were donated by the scrap scheme. The piece was designed to be touched, and was made using materials with a variety of textures. These included tiles, pebbles, srting and shells. Essential oils were added to the dried flowers to provide fragrance.

Network arts were particularly proud of this piece and a staff nurse from Hayworth ward reported that before installation of the wall, the room was barely used, but that following the installation patients go into the room all the time.
