In 2005, Sue Rankin, sister of Network arts member Phil Baird, ran the Edinburgh marathon to raise funds for Network Arts. She finished the 26.2 mile course in 4hours, 59 mins and 23 seconds. The money she raised was used to purchase much needed equipment for the screen printing group, which is being put to very good use every Monday in the screen printing group. Everyone at Network arts was very grateful to Sue and as a token of our gratitude she was presented with a mosaic dolphin, which now shares her Edinburgh home.
