Lewisham Peoples Day 2001

In the summer of 2001, we had a stall at Lewisham Peoples Day. On sale were a variety of members work, and a selection of tie-dye T-Shirts. The T-Shirts were produced by the textiles group (now known as the creative crafts group)

Whilst setting up the stall, there was a flash storm, and deputy manager Steve Glynn got an electric shock when lightening struck the ground he was walking on. Thankfully no damage was done and he was able to get on with the business of getting the stall ready.
